Don’t Overcomplicate Your Health

It's been a crazy year for many and for many more this time of year can be more difficult.

For many their health has suffered significantly. As a society we are gaining weight, coming down with illness, disease and are chronically stressed, overstimulated and crippled with anxiety and depression. We aren't born this way.

Don't overcomplicate it when it comes to your health.

Stick to what we know works for most.

If you can be consistent in a few things that's usually all it takes for most ( not all) to make the weight loss changes your after.

Water : try half your bodyweight in ounces.

Movement: think 10k steps a day. Your metabolism and body do NOT care what's convenient.

Protein : .5 -1 g per pound of bodyweight. If you're 200 lbs that be 100-200 g per day.

Rest : this is where your body changes, evolves, recovers and grows. It's important. That grind mentality and ill sleep when I'm dead BS may be keeping you from making ANY progress in your health.

Cold Water plunge or shower : numerous benefits here. Mental discipline, boosted immune system, recovery, improve metabolism, fight depression and so much more. Of course its not comfortable but being unhealthy sure isn't comfortable either.

I am not saying these things are the solution to your every health problem but try implementing these things and prioritizing them in your life. The benefits and rewards will be staggering.
