It’s time to know something better, and think bigger than you think
"Into the great wide open, under them skies of blue. Out in the great wide open, a rebel without a clue"
I am more convinced now than ever that as time goes on the greatest growth as a human comes in the parts of our lives that are unknown. Nothing new can happen in the predictable, known. In my experience when we ditch the usual thoughts, feelings and ideas on how things are supposed to be then we open ourselves up to the possibility that ANYTHING can happen. Have a vision for what you want to create in your life but be unattached in how you get there.
We want change, but don't to do anything different.
We want to grow but don't want to be uncomfortable.
We want love but don't want to be hurt.
We want adventure, fun, excitement but want things to be predictable and secure.
For example I speak with people every week who express to me they want to make specific changes in their life. They vary from health to mindset, habit development, stress management or even better relationships. Sometimes we work together and sometimes we don't. The ones who work with me have expressed they are in a place to be uncomfortable and challenged. The ones who don't, though want to change, haven't really thought about whether or not they are worthy of making the changes they desire or whether or not its possible for them. And then of course sometimes we just aren't a good fit.
The point is that nothing changes if nothing changes. If you're not seeing the changes you'd like to in your life maybe its not that its not possible for you rather you haven't allowed yourself the thinking and perspective that it could be. That actually anything is possible. It's time to think better than you think, and know something better than you already know, stop listening to the voice that says its too hard, or not possible (and especially the people around you who reinforce that voice).
What is something you haven't made progress in or achieved because you think its not "realistic" or "possible"?
I'm here to say think again.
