Is Your Environment Holding You Back?
They say you are a sum of the 5 people you hang out with/info we consume.
For most it’ll be through family, co-workers, friends or through media (podcast, movies, news, TV) or books.
The information we consume and conversations we participate in shape our thoughts which in turn shape our emotions then our actions and then experiences of life. For many based on the conversations I've had right now that is hysteria, broken confidence, loneliness, bad health, and the list goes on.
If you aren't particularly fond of ALL of your experience of life it is safe to say there is space or maybe even a need for change somewhere.
When it comes to our health we are easily influenced the same ways I listed above. Media, learned habits, friends, family.
We all want to be healthy, feel confident and stronger in our skin. We all deserve that. But many of us aren't putting ourselves in an environment that nurtures that. We can have the best intentions in the world but if our environment isn't conducive to growth then it isn't possible for most.
This is the power of community and being surrounded by people who want to experience the same as you do.
