Alex is a life coach disguised as a personal trainer. I started with Alex last summer and I’m so glad I did. The money, time, and energy was the best investment I’ve ever made in myself. The only regret I have is that I couldn’t continue for a 2nd year due to personal reasons. Alex advertises himself as a personal trainer but I can assure you that you will get much more than that. He has a holistic style that is perfect for those of us who need to do extensive work around our relationship with food/exercise. We met virtually at the end of every week to discuss sleep, exercise, nutrition, self care, self improvement, goals, work, relationships, mental health. If it was a part of my life, it was of interest to him. I found him flexible to my schedule changes and understanding of my personal quirks. Alex is smart, knowledgeable, non-judgmental, genuine, professional, patient, open-minded and kind. He is skilled at tailoring his approach and services to meet you where you are now. I think his goal is to work himself out of a job because he spends a lot of time educating/empowering the client. I’m confident even as I enter this year without our weekly sessions because part of his program is heavy education, self discovery , and (if you are into it) self development. My most significant discovery was identifying my core need and making a connection to how that impacts literally everything in my life (energy, mood, relationships, gratitude, motivation). I call it the holy grail. All these years, I had not made the connection but Alex walked me through ways to listen to my body. He asked questions based on our discussions and instead of just telling me helped me arrive to the point of understanding for myself. I will always be grateful for him. I know I will be a returning customer and I would recommend him to anyone looking to make changes in their life.
